TOP GAFFERS TO BATTLE IT OUT IN 2016/2017 BPL SEASON

The very top notch managers of world football will be taking up English clubs in the Barclays English Premier league football season 2016-2017. The BPL which has over a decade not fallen short of excitement due to the pace, intensity and competitive nature of the league will boast of the very finest managers come this summer. Manchester City and Chelsea football clubs have officially confirmed Joseph Guardiola and Antonio Conte respectively to take charge at the end of the season. Pep Guardiola who is the current head coach of German league giants Bayern Munchen having succeeded Jupp Heynckes in 2013 has 19 trophies in his coaching career, winning 14 of those with Barcelona in Spain making him one of the best and most celebrated coaches in the world. Guardiola is still in the race of winning the treble before teaming up with his new club Manchester City. Italian tactitian Antonio conte on the other hand will take charge at Chelsea. The current defending league champions have had to succumb to a series of poor results and failed to hit the ground running as expected this term with last season’s player of the season Eden Hazard going through a blip of form. This resulted in the axing of José Mourinho at the club replacing him with Guus Hiddink as interim boss. Conte, who won 3 Serie A tropies in quick succession with Juventus is currently the head coach of the Italian national side going into the Euro’s in a couple of months. His contract will be due in the summer thereby taking charge at Chelsea. José Mourinho who is no new person in the premier league is heavily speculated to take charge at Manchester United. The Portuguese trainer was sacked in November, last year after a poor run and believed to have lost the dressing room on his second spell at the West London outfit. Mourinho however, has made clear his intentions of returning to football management after the axe, stating clearly he would love to take up an English club. Claudio Ranieri who has spearheaded a dream season with Leciester City, without any questions will be competing with other astute managers once the new season kicks start. Mauricio Pochettino who is also hoping his Spurs side can nick the league title under the noses of the “Foxes” has grown into one of the very finest managers in the premier league. His Spurs side will be regarded as one of the power houses of the premier league come next season. Arsene Wenger, the longest serving manager in the league who knows the league inside-out will be hoping to give the rest of the managers a run for their money with his experience and squad in Arsenals. Jurgen Klopp who replaced Brendan Rodgers at the start of the season, will be hoping to beef up his current squad in the summer and making them a real force in the BPL. The former BVB manager has been tipped by most football pundits to be a real force to be reckon with the merseyside club next season. Ronald Koeman, Roberto Martinez Slavan Bilic, Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis just to mention a few are managers who would equally be competing. Next season’s premier league football should be very competitive and exciting considering the pedigree of managers who will be battling it out.
