KENICHI YASTUHASHI THE RIGHT MAN FOR HEARTS?

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting club after an impressive start to the new season are currently positioned first on the league log having won three and drawing one of their four matches played. Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has been in the headlines for the right reasons after guiding the Phobians to a fabulous start. Many of the fans believe the club is going the right direction, others believe it is still early days and that there is no need getting carried away. Speaking to a fan after the club’s 3-1 win at home to Bechem United on at the Accra sports stadium, he expressed his delight at the club’s start to the new season. Jeffery Selasie said, “As a staunch Hearts fan i think he’s impressed me so much considering a section of the fans doubting his ability after his appointment. He’s got his tactics on point and the team is gelling and moving in the right path. I just hope they can maintain their discipline.” When asked if the phobians can boast of winning the league and competing once more in the CAF champions league he advised his fellow hearts fans not to put too much pressure on the manager. “Keni just took over, It is early days to be dreaming about winning everything. He is still rebuilding the team after four or five seasons of poor form.” He called on the Hearts fraternity to support their new manager saying, “let us back the new manager, in two seasons to come under his tutelage we can think of winning everything we compete in.”
