RENARD ON COURSE TO MAKING HISTORY

French international Hervè Renard has yet again proven to be one of the outstanding and top notch coaches on the African terrain. The two times African cup of Nations winner with Zambia and Cote d'voire respectively has guided the Moroccans to seal qualification into the next edition of the Afcon due in Gabon next year. The former assistant coach of the Blackstars of Ghana under the tutelage of Claude Leroy during the 2008 cup of nations hosted in Ghana, guided the Chipolopolo’s of Zambian to win the trophy in 2012 and the Elephants of Cote d'voire in 2015 making him the only manager to have won the trophy with two different countries. Renard’s good work in Africa was rewarded when he was named the best coach in Africa in same year he won the Afcon with the Ivorians. He was appointed in that same year as head coach of french league 1 outfit, Lille but was axed after a series of poor run picking up 13 points in 13 games. Hervè Renard begins his quest for a third African football title with a third country in quick succession with the Moroccans at the 2017 Afcon football showdown slated for January.
